The official release of the GraphDB software for archiving and exchanging graphs is now available. The software is under ongoing development. Updated versions with bug-fixes and new features will be provided as soon as they are available.

This version requires an installation of the Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 or later on your computer. You can download it for free on the Sun's Java Homepage.

The GraphDB software (“software”) is copyrighted by the GraphDB project team, located at Universität Karlsruhe (TH) and Universität Tübingen (“GraphDB team”). All rights reserved. You may freely distribute the software in unaltered form. The software is provided “AS IS”, with no warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular use. In no event shall the GraphDB team be liable for any damages, direct or indirect, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

The client can be accessed either via Java Webstart or can be downloaded as standalone application. The latter has to be uncompressed and then can be started with

java -Xmx512M -jar GraphDB.jar

You can either Webstart GraphDB Client
via your browser if supported, or open a shell and enter:

javaws http://arrival.graph-archive.org/jaws/GraphDB.jnlp 

Fill in the provided elements:

• User: $USER (provided)
• Password: $PASSWORD (provided)
• Address: 134.2.15.218
• Port: 8080

Some packages used are signed by me (a Thawte Freemail Member) and SUN itself. Because we are doing binary data transfer, we have to access your HDD. Thus, we ask you to trust us.
